Keith Lowey

CPA, CIRA, CFF

Keith joined the firm as a Principal in 1990. His responsibilities are business development; accounting and consulting services; business advisory services; and bankruptcy matters including: taxation and accounting, valuation and insolvency, search for preference and fraudulent transactions, records reconstruction and expert witness services. He has been employed as an accountant for Chapter 7 and 11 Trustees, Examiners, Debtors and Creditors’ Committees; Examiner; and has testified as an expert witness in hundreds of cases. Keith has been in public and private practice in the accounting field for 24 years.

Craig Jalbert

CIRA

Craig has been a Principal of the firm (and its predecessors) for 20 years with primary responsibility for the completion of all tax and bankruptcy engagements. His duties are business development; accounting and consulting services; business advisory services; bankruptcy matters including: taxation and accounting; valuation and insolvency; search for preference and fraudulent transactions; and expert witness, and records reconstruction. He has been employed as an accountant for Chapter 7 and 11 Trustees, and has been retained as a Liquidating Supervisor and a Liquidating Agent.

William T. Hurley, Jr.

JD, CPA

Bill joined the firm in September 2010 as Managing Director and has more than 31 years of public accounting experience. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Bentley College in May 1977, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University Law School in June 1987. His work experience includes working with entrepreneurial businesses on tax and business issues, corporate reorganizations, the purchase and sale of closely-held businesses, partnership taxation issues, international tax planning and estate planning for high net worth individuals. He has been active in numerous professional and community groups and has spoken to numerous groups about tax and financial planning issues. He has also appeared on several radio programs in the Boston area regarding tax and business issues.

Donald Swanson

MBA, CIRA

Donald brings 25 years of experience to the firm, which he joined in 2000 as a Manager. His responsibilities include bankruptcy and forensic accounting services for a broad range of corporate clients; financial management consulting and accounting services; business advisory services, business plan development and analysis; business liquidations; valuation and insolvency, litigation support, records reconstruction, search for preference and fraudulent transactions.

Lisa Sturgeon

As Tax Accountant, Lisa’s current duties include preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. The firm greatly benefits from Lisa’s 21 years of experience.

Matthew R. Flynn

CPA, CFF, CIRA

Matthew joined the firm in June 1999. He specializes in bankruptcy-related work, including: promulgation of Debtor schedules and statements of financial affairs, fraud investigations, preference and avoidance action analyses, claims analyses and preparation of Ch. 11 operating reports. Matthew received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Anselm College in May 1999. He became a CPA in 2003 and received his Certification in Financial Forensics in 2008. He became a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor in December 2012.

Heather Medeiros

CPA

In her nine years with the firm as Staff Accountant, Heather’s responsibilities include working on various tax engagements in and out of bankruptcy. She spends most of her time on consolidated and multi-state corporate tax return preparation.

Gale Reid

Gale brings 28 years of experience in bookkeeping. Her current duties as Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer include individual tax return preparation and review, payroll and payroll reporting, weekly bill paying and monthly reconciliation for a number of our high net worth clients. Gale also prepares and reconciles bankruptcy creditor distributions for various bankruptcy trustees.

Beth Brodeur

Beth joined the firm as Staff Accountant in 2003. She brings 8 years of experience in the accounting field doing: audits, accounting, and bookkeeping; while her current duties include tax preparation of individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. She is also a certified QuickBooks Advisor.

Penny Bley

From various accounting positions from clerk to staff accountant, Penny brings twenty years of experience to the firm. Her duties as Computer Analyst & Forensic Bookkeeper include database creation and analysis services, installation and setup of computer programming, and program troubleshooting.

Tim McDonald

EnCE, MCSE

Tim joined the firm in 2012 as a Computer Forensic Examiner/Systems Analyst. His current duties involve handling e-discovery, computer forensics, and data recovery-related cases. He also handles network security and assists in systems administration. Tim graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and holds the following certifications: EnCase Certified Examiner, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Microsoft Certified Professional.

Frank Osborne

As network administrator, Frank has been a member of our IT Department since 2004. His responsibilities include electronic records retrieval, network and workstation administration and general and technical support duties. In addition, he assists the accounting staff with client engagements.
